HEAD & NECK RECONSTRUCTION AND MICROVASCULAR COURSE
Date: Tuesday 16 - Thursday 18 March 2027

Designed for trainees, fellows and consultant surgeons with an interest in head and neck and microvascular reconstruction, the course brings together a multidisciplinary faculty from Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

The program combines expert-led teaching, fresh-frozen cadaveric dissection and hands-on microsurgical training. Participants will explore the full reconstructive pathway, from defect assessment and reconstructive planning through to flap selection, harvest, inset and microvascular anastomosis.

ADELAIDE HEAD AND NECK CADAVERIC DISSECTION COURSE
Date: Wednesday 17 - Thursday 18 March 2027
Location: Adelaide University Anatomical Labs

Limited to 16 participants

  • Cadaveric Dissection focused.
  • High ratio of faculty to participants.
  • Highlights include:
    • Partial laryngeal surgery on pig larynxes 
    • Mandibular plating workshop
    • All approaches to the parapharyngeal space
    • Trans-oral tonsil oropharyngectomy
    • Open and stapled Total laryngectomies

ADVANCED VOICE AND STROBOSCOPY COURSE
Date: Thursday 18 March 2027
Time: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Adelaide Convention Centre
Convener: A/Prof Theo Athanasiadis

The course is supported by the Dr Liang Voice Program and run in conjunction with the Laryngology Society of Australasia, and will bring together otolaryngologists, laryngology fellows, ENT trainees and speech pathologists from across Australia for a full day dedicated to the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and contemporary management of organic laryngeal and voice disorders.

INDIGENOUS HEALTH WORKSHOP

The ASOHNS annual Indigenous Health Workshop is designed for ENT surgeons and trainees, Aboriginal ear health practitioners, GPs, ACCHO community organisations and teachers.

Surgeon Registration: $350.00
Non Surgeon Registration: $250.00

Surgeons and Trainees/Registrars must register for the workshop on the ASM registration form.  Non-Surgeons can register for the workshop without the attending the ASM. To do so please click on the workshop only button below.
