I am a medical student currently in my second year of studies at Griffith university. I have a keen interest in everything ENT as I have had the privilege of assisting Dr Emily Perry and Professor Christopher Perry in their private practice for the past 4 years. Throughout this time I have been exposed to numerous aspects of ENT practice, and learned more than I thought was possible. This interest has led to the co-authoring of a systematic review examining facial nerve monitoring during parotidectomy – something I hope to present along with my other co-authors at this conference.
